What is it when you mix vaporhop, dreampunk, and modern electronica? Because Offshore Dreams sounds like a mix of all three of those things without sounding like any of them. This release of thoroughly futuristic music is IDM updated for 2017 in fourteen tracks – ten of which are available for listen through the Bandcamp digital streaming service and the other four are available upon purchase. Heavily utilized are brief spoken word snippets and trap-esque hi-hat flutters. Offshore Dreams is available as a digital download and for $8 CAD on cassette in an edition of twenty.
